Can I work in Metric Units? 
Yes.  You can work in either metric or USA (Imperial) units. 

Do I need a digitizer to input data into EARTH?   
No.  You can not use a digitizer with EARTH.  You simply type the distance and elevation points for each station from your survey into a text editor. 

How can I work with terrain contours?   
You would need to define a series of parallel station lines across the project area, and then find the distance and elevation points from the terrain contours for each station line.  

Does EARTH work with CAD? 
EARTH exports cross sections and profile plots to an AutoCAD drawing exchange file (DXF).  You can then open these DXF files in a CAD program.  EARTH does not import CAD drawings as data input.

Is there a Demo version available? 
Yes!  Go HERE to watch it.  There is no operational evaluation of EARTH if that is what you are seeking.  EARTH is a simple program and the full features are explained on this website.
